Application of Rules
In determining the correct application of Rumble rules in a particular match, items in the following list take precedence over all items lower in the list.
- Text of powers
- Special rules in this match
- General Rumble rules
- Previous moderator rulings in this match
- Moderator ruling in the most recent comparable situation in another Rumble match
- Moderator's best judgement
Glossary
Terms in Rumble have the meanings defined in the Glossary. Ordinarily the most recent version of the Glossary at the time a match begins is binding on that match, but the moderator may identify a particular revision of the Glossary as binding in order to prevent unilateral or malicious edits from being made shortly before a match begins.
Statuses
Terms defined in Statuses have the meanings defined therein, subject to the same revision rules as the Glossary. Unless otherwise specified, all statuses take hold starting the round after they are applied to a target. If no duration is specified by the power applying a status, the status lasts for 1 round. If the same status is applied twice to a target, only the longest remaining duration applies.
Classes
If a term immediately preceded by an asterisk ("*") appears after the name of a status or power and before any text not immediately preceded by an asterisk, that status or power is part of the class that term indicates.
